ADC KIDS

The ADC Michigan Kid’s Club is a project, initiated by the ADC Michigan network and the ADC Chapters across the State of Michigan, to engage and involve the young Arab American generation in the process of shaping their future. It serves to promote the values of tolerance and diversity and teach our children the difference between right and wrong. ADC Kids Club works to strengthen the bond between our younger generation and their national origin and heritage.

The Club caters to younger to younger activists, ages 7- 15, in an effort to empower them and get them involved in issues that affect the community. Those who join the “ADC Michigan Kids Club,”for an annual donation of $5, can participate in diversity celebrations and special activities that will aim to educate and make them aware of the importance of tolerance and understanding. Through this special program, ADC-Michigan promotes young talented Arab Americans and promotes their involvement in the community. The ADC-Michigan Kids Club will encompass all of the Michigan Chapters and stretch from Dearborn to Kalamazoo. For more information or to get involved please contact Mrs. Arwa Hamad at adcmichigan.org.

ADC Kids Club Celebration of Diversity
Annually held in at a local elementary school, the ADC Kids Club Celebration of Diversity works to provide students with the knowledge to promote diversity and understanding through art, teamwork and, of course, gifts. The celebration asks classes in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade to collectively design a “Unity Collage,” depicting diversity and the celebration of the many holidays, cultures, religions that make up the world. After judging the collages, ADC awarded one class in each grade a special reward, a CVS/Pharmacy gift card, while all participating students received a “goody bag.”
