The ADC Michigan Annual Benefit Gala is one of the largest and most prestigious annual Arab American events in the State of Michigan. The event usually generates a great amount of attention and publicity and hosts approximately 1,500 supporters, friends, distinguished guests, elected officials and international dignitaries each year.
In previous years, we have been honored to host distinguished leaders including: H.E. Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani, the Prime Minister of the State of Qatar; Her Highness Shiekha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned of the State of Qatar; Queen Noor and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan; and Her Excellency Shiekha Lubna Al-Qasimi of the United Arab Emirates. In addition to the above dignitaries, we are proud to have hosted the Governor of the State of Michigan, a number of U.S. Congress men and women, and many other American political figures.
A prominant feature of this event includes an awards ceremony to honor the dedicated and influential leaders who have made exemplary contributions to the many causes that ADC champions. The awardees are individuals and groups whose longstanding commitment to the Arab American community has been truly remarkable and impacting.
