Judges' Night Reception
The ADC Michigan Advisory Board has announced the 12th Annual Judges Night “Guardian of Justice” will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Byblos Banquet Hall. The purpose of ADC’s Annual Judges Night Reception is to recognize and honor local judges whose work in upholding civil rights has been exemplary. These Judges are recognized each year for their commitment to justice, civil rights and the letters of the U.S. Constitution in their courtrooms. ADC focuses on strengthening the relationship between the Arab American community and the members of our judicial system at all levels. Such interaction not only enhances awareness regarding issues if concern pertaining to the Arab American community, but also helps promote and recognize those judges who exhibit distinguished leadership and those who are committed to justice in America, This event is an annual event where ADC will host host and honor particular judges.
ADC MI Calls for Nominations for its 12th Annual Judge’s Night
The ADC Michigan Advisory Board has opened nominations for judges for the “Guardian of Justice” Award, which will be presented at this years’ 12th Annual Judge’s Night Reception on Friday, October 10, 2013. The Advisory Board is currently accepting nominations for judges who have been exemplary in upholding civil Rights in their courtrooms, to receive this prestigious award. Nominations must include the name and courthouse of the Judge, along with a brief summary of why the Judge should be nominated, including the Judge’s accomplishments and unique rulings. All nominations should be sent to the Judge’s Night Committee at email@example.com. Nominations deadline is August 15, 2013.
