Syrian American Medical Society hosts an  informative discussion regarding the Syrian Crisis:

On Sunday, March 10th from 11:30am – 4pm the Syrian American Medical Society and Foundation will be hosting an informative discussion, “Anguish to Action: Psychosocial Conflicts in the Syrian Crisis.” From sexual violence affecting women, to the psychological impact on children, to the psychosocial impact on the men, world renowned speakers will discuss these topics and provide insight on how you can help. The Sadr Foundation’s 13th Annual Fundraising Dinner: On Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 4:30PM, The Sadr Foundation will be holding its  13th Annual Fundraising Dinner at the Islamic Center of America located at 19500 Ford Rd., in dearborn.  Reception at 4:30pm and the program will begin promptly at 5pm. 2013 Detroit, Michigan Summer Legal Institute:

On June 17 – 21 and June 24th the Unites States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan are seeking Detroit-area High School Students for 2013 Detroit, Michigan Summer Legal Institute. Chosen students will meet with volunteer attorneys, and members of the judiciary. They will visit various courts, participate in a mock trial, practice negotiation skills, attend workshops on college readiness and business networking, participate in an oral arguments competition, and also shadow an attorney for a day! MLFA Detroit Gala:

On Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., the Muslim American Legal Fund (MLFA) will be holding its annual Detroit Gala titled Celebrating Unshakable Couragein the Face of Unimaginable Power.  The Gala will be held Adoba Dearborn Hotel (Formerly Hyatt Regency Hotel) in Dearborn.
