The ADC Michigan Advisory Board has opened nominations for judges for the Guardian of Justice Award, which will be presented at this year's 8th Annual Judges Night Reception on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 6:00 p.m., at the Bint Jebail Cultural Center in Dearborn. The Advisory Board is currently accepting nominations for Judges who have been exemplary in upholding Civil Rights in their courtrooms, to receive this prestigious award. Nominations must include the name and courthouse of the Judge, along with a brief summary of why the Judge should be nominated. All nominations should be sent to Advisory Board Co-Chair, Nadia Fadel at nfadel@adc.org and must be received by April 15, 2009, to be reviewed by the Judges Night Committee.
