ADC Michigan Announces Awardees for Annual Fundraising Gala
ADC Michigan is pleased to announce the award recipients for its upcoming Annual Fundraising Gala on Friday, December 11, 2009, at 6:00pm, at the Greenfield Manor Banquet Hall in Dearborn. This year’s awardees include:
· · Dr. Ashley Ansara/ Arab American of the Year AwardDr. Marwan Abouljoud- Excellence in Medical Services & Advocacy Award
Marwan Abouljoud, M.D., is the Director of the Transplant Institute at Henry Ford Health System. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of the Henry Ford Medical Group.
Dr. Ashley Ansara serves as President & CEO of Ansara Holding Corporation in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
· University of Detroit-Mercy Law Clinics- Excellence in Legal Advocacy Award
The University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law provides legal services through its many clinics, including the Immigration Law Clinic, Veterans Law Clinic, Mobile Law Clinic and Urban Law Clinic.
· Edward Deeb- Building Bridges Award
Mr. Edward Deeb is President & CEO of the Michigan Food & Beverage Association. He is also Editor-in-Chief of Corp! Magazine, Michigan’s largest business magazine.
· George Saad- Community Service Award
Mr. George Saad is a local businessman and active volunteer with various organizations. In 2003 he was named the Salvation Army’s Territorial Volunteer of the Year in recognition of his significant contributions with the organization over the years.

ADC Michigan announces a change in location for its upcoming Annual Fundraising Gala on December 11, 2009. This year’s event will take place at Greenfield Manor Banquet Hall in Dearborn (4770 Greenfield Rd.).
